Maybelline’s Big Give Away
We created a mobile game as part of the 100th birthday celebration of Maybelline New York. Players were given the chance of popping as many balloons as possible within 60 seconds. Each day we’d reset the leaderboard. Highest scoring players were eligible for some big prizes.
The game was cross-platform and required the use of HTML for front-end design. We used a well-established third party game engine to save time and money. Users were given the option of logging in via Facebook or creating their own profile on the app itself.
We used PHP and a custom built API to store user scores on a dedicated server.
